According to Planned Parenthood's 2005-2006 Annual Report, their 'existing facilities could not support the necessary additions.'
Planned Parenthood did not have the resources in their current facilities to expand into the arena of providing late term abortions. So they began looking for a way to grow and make that a reality.
In that same report, Planned Parenthood noted that 'after years of planning and seraching we purchased a six-story building on a six acre campus near downtown Houston.' Located at 4600 Gulf Freeway, this huge building has been paid for and will become the second largest abortion facility in the world.
