Racial Profiling for PP Clients
Clinic Facts   >   Racial Profiling for PP Clients

The city of Houston is broken up into subdivisions called Super Neighborhoods. The location for the
new facility is located at the junction of four different Super Neighborhoods -
69 Gulfgate/Pine Valley, 64 Eastwood Lawndale, 88 Lawndale/Wayside, and 67 Greater Third Ward.

The combined average median per-capita income is $11,637.

A look at the ethnic makeup of the neighborhoods is also quite revealing. In the first three Super Neighborhoods, the combined average Hispanic population by percentage is 85%.

For the Greater Third Ward area, the Black population makes up about 90% of the total.

From the demographics alone, it is obvious that the location is targeting low income minorities,
especially Hispanics.

Approximately 80% of the nursing, counseling and administrative staff of the Fanin location is Hispanic, as well as a significant percentage of the abortionists that have been identified. A Spanish language
call center to field calls from across the southwest is in the blueprint plans for the new abortion clinic
as well.
